This sale is for a Vintage Longines Ultra-Quartz Watch. 
A rare and historically important watch . The only Cybernetic watch ever produced and instead of an IC it had micro sized transistor , resistors and capacitors . The motor module with Accutron type pawl and index fingers consists of a torsion bar with coil and counter-weight on both ends that vibrates at 170Hz. On top of that there is an electronic maze manually assembled with 14 transistors, 19 resistors, 7 capacitors and a quartz crystal vibrating at 9350Hz 
Very expensive in 1972 and the hight of technology and accuracy when quartz was in its infancy . Made in low numbers and very rare to find one of these for sale in running condition and even rarer to find on original bracelet . A real classic and iconic 1970s Swiss watch . This large and heavy watch , seriously collectible. In nice condition , the time keeping is not good at about 5 mins out each day but none the less a very rare collectors item . These are getting harder to get in nice condition and going up in value .

Condition - Great used condition and well looked after , please see all pictures . Some fine marks but no heavy nicks or dings . It is not keeping time well at about 5 mins deviation each day . Someone may be able to sort that out but not something i can do .  
Age / Circa - Made in Switzerland , Circa 1972 .
Movement - Swiss quartz , Longines calibre 6562 . Works with a hum , tuning fork movement . 
Dial - Blue dial , with some amazing raised hour batons that allow the second hand to travel under them .Date window is between 4 and 5 . Dial in great condition .
Crystal - Original acrylic crystal , cant see any scratches .
Case - Square shaped case , all in stainless steel . Unusual opening with catches top and bottom behind the strap . Battery hatch and crown on the back . 
Bracelet - Original and very rare Chatelain bracelet . These were also fitted on Brietling , Omega , Eterna , Longines and many other high grade watch brands . Stainless steel from solid links . Fits max 7 1/2" wrist .
