" The LONGINES GEMINI is a “Day & Night”-watch that has an LCD and LED display. The watch shown here is the very rare stainless steel version produced in Switzerland by the Companie des Montres Francillon S.A./Saint-Imier. But the less rare golden version, the "Gemini II", was developed and manufactured in the USA. The base calibre comes from the American company Hughes Aircraft. "
A real well built and heavy Longines , circa 1976 . LCD for day time and LED for night time . A few Swiss makers were also bringing out LED / LCD watches at this time but this is by far the rarest . A chunk of a watch hewed from solid stainless steel and on original solid link bracelet . Just serviced and in PERFECT working order with no missing segments , spots or shadowing of the display . A great investment for any collector and a holy grail model . In great condition and all original . - Case - Heavy stainless case in square design . Brushed body and polished bezel with snap back cover .
- Case Size - 40mm top to bottom 36mm side to side ( without crown ) and 14mm depth
- Bracelet - Original Longines signed bracelet . Not stretched , all solid stainless links . Fits max 8" wrist
