ZODIAC ASTROGRAPHIC MYSTERY DIAL
The fabulous Mystery dial watch by Zodiac . Circa 1970s Swiss made automatic watch . The mystery dial watches were so called because it is a mystery how the hands go round . The secret is really they are attached to three clear discs which are in turn attached to the shafts which normally turn hands , and you can see the electric blue dial clear through them . This makes the hands look like they are literally floating in air . This handsome example is in excellent used condition and very collectable. The dial is electric blue with a quick set date window at 12 . It looks to have one small speck of dirt on the dial near the date window but hard to see and not detracting. The mineral crystal is scratch free . It has a large pillow shaped case in high polish stainless steel and on its original solid link bracelet with signed buckle . Although it is a used watch the condition is very nice indeed with no deep scratches or heavy dings as you can see . Fits up to a 7.2" wrist . Running perfectly and holding time very well . Rare , handsome , collectable and a great investment .
