This is a rare and awesome gents Seiko digital and in fabulous used condition . Circa 1970s , model 0654-5000 is a very early model and one of the first generation of digital watches . Very simple with the time , date and night light only . There is no chrono or alarm and technology was not available when this was made for any other functions . Massive and chunky construction and the obvious 70s design that you cant fail to notice .  It operates by 3 buttons on the side . Top one for the date , bottom one for the light and the middle button to set the watch . The dial is dark blue with chrome highlights and the LCD is crisp and clear with no missing segments or imperfections . Keeps time and all functions are fully operational . In fabulous all round condition , the glass has 2 small scratches that are easily polished out . The chunky watch case has only light marks gained through gentle use and no deep scratches or heavy dings . Heavy and robust , it is still on its rare and original solid link bracelet with signed clasp . An exceptionally rare Seiko and a must have for any Seiko or digital collection . Seiko are as good as any Swiss watch in my opinion and this one shows it all the way .
