This is an awesome gents digital LCD watch from Seiko and in fabulous used condition. Model 0634-5001 is the world first digital LCD chronograph and the height of technology when it was produced. This watch is a massive chunky piece and heavily made . Seiko’s most sought after digitals feature face buttons, crown and separate battery hatch , this watch has them all . It operates by a crown on the side and two face buttons to select either the time or chronograph as well as the night light. The dial surround is in black and the display is clear and sharp with no missing segments . Keeps time perfectly and the chrono is fully functional, even the night light still works fine. It is in fabulous all round condition with no scratches to the crystal. The chunky watch case is very near mint . Very heavily and robustly made, it is still on its original solid link stainless steel bracelet which will fit up to a 8" wrist with a buckle extension that has been added . My first passion was for Seiko watches and find the quality of them is as good as any Swiss time piece and there longevity is second to none. It screams 1970s and because it was new technology you would have to have been a wealthy man back then to buy one.
