ORIGINAL 1970S RETRO WATCH

This is an awesome gents digital lcd watch from Seiko and in fabulous used condition. Model 0634-5019 is the world first digital lcd chronograph and the height of technology when it was produced. This watch is a massive chunky piece with a curious wedge shape like you find on drivers watches. Seiko’s most sought after digitals feature face buttons, crown and separate battery hatch , this watch has them all . It operates by a crown on the side and two face buttons to select either the time or chronograph as well as the night light. The dial is in black with gold and silver highlights and the display is clear and sharp with no missing segments or problems. Keeps time perfectly and the chrono is fully functional, even the night light still works fine. It is in fabulous all round condition with no scratches to the crystal. The chunky watch case has only very slight marks gained through use and no deep scratches or heavy dings at all . Very heavily and robustly made, it is still on its original solid link stainless steel bracelet with all of its original links so that it will fit an 7 3/4" wrist. I have seen a few of these models and most have been polished up and lost the original black finish on the bracelets. This one has about 95% of the black still intact . My first passion was for Seiko watches and find the quality of them is as good as any Swiss time piece and there longevity is second to none. It screams 1970s and because it was new technology you would have to have been a wealthy man back then to buy one.
