SEIKO AUTOMATIC GENERATING SYSTEM REF S06124

A rare piece of Seiko’s history here with the Seiko AGS or Automatic Generating System . Introduced in 1988 , it was the worlds first quartz watch to use an automatic power generating system . The auto pendulum or rotor is swung by movement of the wrist and this goes through a gear chain and multiplied by 100 . This in turn spins a power-generator at high speed to produce a current and charges a capacitor which in turn feeds the time circuits . High technology and cutting edge in the 80s ; It has now been developed further in the guise of the Seiko Kinetic but AGS was the name only on the first models .

I have here for offer an AGS model 7M22-6A10 gents dress watch and it is brand new old stock and mint condition . It has a very handsome dial , classically styled in white with slender gold hour batons and hands. Furnished with a quick set date window at 6 . Set with hardlex crystal to the front and back so you can see this unusual movement from the reverse . The case is beautifully finished in satin chromium with gold highlights and mounted on its original , integral bracelet . It is totally original and comes with its AGS swing tag and full compliment of links allowing it to fit a 7 3/4" wrist . A very handsome and discrete watch that is rare and very collectable . Perfect working order and perfect condition that makes any collector drool . So far i have never seen these for sale anywhere else in new old stock and hardly any used at all so get them whilst they last . i only have a very small amount in stock .
