ORIGINAL 1970S RETRO WATCH
SEIKO AUTOMATIC CHRONOGRAPH REF F10130
This is an awesome gents chrono from Seiko and in mint used condition . Caliber 6139 automatic chronograph . First put in production in 1969 and still widely sought after and collected . These are fast becoming scarce watches and in this nice condition are seldom seen . Features a very handsome grey/silver dial with luminous batons and . Its crown is also used to quick set the day and date by pushing it in , the top chrono button is for start and stop and the bottom chrono button for reset . Its dial is set with a sub dial showing elapsed mins , uses red hands to show chronograph features . The dial is immaculate as is the hardlex crystal . The case and bracelet are in stainless steel and show no marks at all . The condition is so good that it has possibly been refinished and a very good job done of it. The bracelet is not original but a generic replacement and suits the watch well . All in all it is very nice indeed and suitable for wrist sizes up to a huge 7 3/4" . The movement has recently been serviced and is running smoothly and holding time well , with the chronograph function snapping back to zero just as it should . My first passion was for Seiko watches and find the quality of them is as good as any Swiss time piece and there longevity is second to non . Without exception this has got to be the nicest model Seiko ever made and certainly my favourite . It screams 1970s and has a fabulous auto chrono movement but you would have to be a wealthy man back then to buy one .
