ORIGINAL 1970S RETRO WATCH

SEIKO AUTOMATIC CHRONOGRAPH REF MY1189                                  

A rare slide rule model Seiko 6138-7000 auto chrono , Circa 1970s and in mint condition . This watch has been restored back to its former glory . I think the bracelet and slide rule maybe after market as they are like new . Features a stunning black dial , furnished with white batons and hands , quick set day/date window at 3 . The top sub dials is for elapsed hours and the bottom sub dial for elapsed minutes . All chrono functions are represented by the red hands . The crystal is acrylic and mark free . The whole watch is stainless steel with solid link bracelet and show no marks at all , absolutely immaculate . Running smoothly with a very clean looking movement and holding time , with the chronograph function snapping back to zero just as it should . My first passion was for Seiko watches and find the quality of them is as good as any Swiss time piece and there longevity is second to non .
