Very special and an extremely rare opportunity to own one of these brand new . Seiko model 6139-6022 . You will not find any model Seiko automatic chronograph actually from the 1970s any where else for sale in brand new old stock condition . Every model I have seen in my life were either worn , used or refurbished . Search the net and test this for yourself to find another one in NOS condition . A watch that collectors dream of having in there collection . This beautiful watch is flawless and still has the original protective wax on the back cover . In the most iconic colour of the 1970s - the dial is brown , furnished with luminous/chrome batons and hands with quick set day/date window at 3 . This is framed by a Pulsations graduated ring that is rotated by the crown . The crown also quick sets the day and date by pushing it in , the top chrono button is for start and stop and the bottom chrono button for reset . Its dial is set with a sub dial showing elapsed mins for the chrono and both red hands show chronograph functions . The crystal is Hardlex ( mineral glass ) . The whole watch is stainless steel with original solid link bracelet and show no marks at all , not even of handling or storage over the years . Running smoothly and holding time , with the chronograph function snapping back to zero just as it should . My first passion was for Seiko watches and find the quality of them is as good as any Swiss time piece and there longevity is second to non . It screams 1970s and has a fabulous auto chrono movement but you would have to be a wealthy man back then to buy one . At this price it is a bargain for a brand new automatic chronograph watch , even a modern one . It is so rare in this condition that I am sure it will only increase in value .
