ORIGINAL 1970S RETRO WATCH

This is an awesome gent’s Seiko with real eye candy looks and pure retro styling. Model 6119-8450 Seiko 5 automatic with orange dial and rotating inner bezel. First put in production in 1969 and still widely sought after and collected. These are fast becoming scarce watches and in this nice condition are seldom seen. These come in different coloured dials but this orange one is the favourite and highly regarded by collectors. The hour batons are in white and it sports a yellow second hand. Its crown is used to quick set the day and date by pushing it in, and if the crown is rotated it turns the bidirectional inner bezel. The dial is immaculate as is the hardlex crystal. Both are fresh and with no unwanted marks. The case is immaculate and has barely a mark or scratch. It has possibly been refinished because i can nearly go, as far as to say it is mint. Comes on a quality bright red, padded leather strap. If it is to bright for you then i am happy to fit other colour straps if you let me know. The movement has recently been serviced and is running smoothly and holding time well. My first passion was for Seiko watches and find the quality of them is as good as any Swiss timepiece and there longevity is second to none. This is one of the nicest model Seiko models ever made and certainly a quality watch. It screams 1970s and has a fabulous automatic movement but you would have to be a wealthy man back then to buy one. Truly a Seiko classic with huge retro appeal.
