This is an awesome gents digital LCD watch from Seiko and in fabulous new condition . Model A547-5040 . This watch is not a remake , it is a genuine old stock piece that has been in storage from the 1980s and is now your chance to own it again . Comes from a period when technology for multi function digital watches were just getting going but Seiko's were still very expensive with most people only affording Casio . This is a handsome model with silver fascia and includes all standard features of time , seconds , date , night light and with the added luxury of an alarm , stop watch and timer that are selected from the row of four face buttons . All in stainless steel with mineral glass crystal and mint , mark free condition . Being sold with its original box , swing tag and operating instructions . It is in perfect working order and keeping time but the only thing I cant guarantee is it being water proof as age makes seals perish . If you intend to use near water then best to have it resealed . My first passion was for Seiko watches and find the quality of them is as good as any Swiss time piece and there longevity is second to non . It screams 1980s old school retro and because it was new technology you would have to have been a wealthy man back then to buy one .
