An cracking retro watch . Brand new old stock from the 1970s ( the purple stuff on the case is the original protective wax ) . Phenix are from the Manufactures Suisse Reunies (MSR) which included Revue , Vulcain and Buser and eventually merged into Revue Thommen . They made high quality watches made to last years .
Here I have for offer an exceptionally well made watch so typical of there era between the late 60s and early 70s . The large rectangular dial is bronze tones and 2 tiered design with chrome/white hour batons and hands . A quick set day/date window is at 3 . Immaculate condition with high polish and brushed surfaces stainless steel case in a large rectangular shape featuring screw back cover . The original strap had deteriorated and not wearable so the watch has now been fitted with a massive and chunky stainless bracelet . Made of large and solid Links and a very secure side buttoned clasp that will make it hard for you to loose this of your wrist . The watch is signed on the dial , back cover , movement and the crown . It is in perfect working order and holding time . A very different watch for those who like to be unique .
