ORIGINAL 1970S RETRO WATCH

Originally this watch was sold by the AA . It is occasionally seen for sale on auction sites and watch fairs but only ever in heavily worn and tatty conditions or re chromed . This one is near mint with a couple of very light scratches on one side ( there is a smudge on the crystal which wiped of , it is not a scratch guaranteed ). It has a genuine mechanical alarm Swiss movement . Wind up mechanical movement with a wind up alarm which uses a tiny hammer to sound the alarm . The top crown is to wind the alarm and set the alarm pointer ( orange hand ) and the bottom crown is to wind the watch and set the time . Fabulous retro styling that shouts the 1970s and is now becoming increasingly popular . It has a marvellous blue dial set in the oval aperture and finished with fine pinstripes . Luminous batons at the quarters and sporting chrome hands and date window at 3 . The watch case is chromium plate with a sunburst brushed finish to the facia and highly polished sides and bezel . I think it is on its original strap and it is matching blue . All in perfect working order and awesome condition . This watch is a real pleasure and a very highly collectable piece in this condition .
