An all time classic watch that feature in all watch books and has inspired many many more makers to copy the lines and looks of this , one of the most sought after watches . A design very typical of its period , first produced in the late 1960s and influenced by the television - especially the clock shown on French television as a time check during the period when this watch was sold .

This is a fabulous example in used but near mint condition . The movement is Swiss automatic . The dial on this model is very rare indeed - in blue with a raised section carrying the chrome hours markers . A quick set day/date window is at 3 . To set the day you pull the crown out all the way and wind the hands backwards and the date is set like normal quick set . The crystal is scratch free . Includes signed crown , dial , case , buckle and movement . The automatic Swiss movement is holding time very well and running sweetly . This is a watch that every serious retro watch collector has in his collection or at least should have . I cant think of another watch that epitomizes the period that this came from . Top quality with all the looks .
