ORIGINAL 1970S RETRO WATCH

An all time classic watch that feature in all watch books and has inspired many many more makers to copy the lines and looks of this , one of the most sought after watches . A design very typical of its period , first produced in the late 1960s and influenced by the television - especially the clock shown on French television as a time check during the period when this watch was sold .

This is a fabulous example in used but very nice condition indeed as well as being boxed . The movement is Swiss automatic . Case and original bracelet are stainless steel with no real scratches or nothing worth a mention anyway as you can see by the pictures . Fits up to a 7.5" wrist but if needed I can add an extra inch with a buckle extension . The dial on this model is a rare bulls eye with concentric rings of different colours . Furnished with white/chrome mins and hour hands and red second hand all original . A quick set date window is at 3 . The dial is very nice condition and the crystal is scratch free . It is totally original and includes a signed crown and buckle . The automatic Swiss movement is holding time very well and running sweetly . This is a watch that every serious retro watch collector has in his collection or at least should have . I cant think of another watch that epitomizes the period that this came from . Top quality with all the looks .
