An all time classic watch that feature in all watch books and has inspired many many more makers to copy the lines and looks of this , one of the most sought after watches . A design very typical of its period , first produced in the late 1960s and influenced by the television - especially the clock shown on French television as a time check during the period when this watch was sold . This is a fabulous example in used but very nice condition indeed . The movement is Swiss automatic . Case and original bracelet are stainless steel with no heavy scratches and i think it has been professionally refinished as it looks near mint . Fits a very large 8 " wrist . The dial on this model is the most sought after bulls eye with silver and blue concentric rings . Furnished with a quick set date window and sporting white hour and min hands and a blue second hand . The dial is immaculate and the crystal is scratch free . It is totally original and includes a signed crown , dial , movement and buckle . The automatic Swiss movement is holding time very well and running sweetly . This is a watch that every serious retro watch collector has in his collection or at least should have . I cant think of another watch that epitomizes the period that this came from . Top quality with all the looks .
