An all time classic watch that feature in all watch books and has inspired many many more makers to copy the lines and looks of this , one of the most sought after watches . A design very typical of its period , first produced in the late 1960s and influenced by the television - especially the clock shown on French television as a time check during the period when this watch was sold . This is a fabulous example in used but very nice condition indeed . The movement is Swiss automatic . Case and original bracelet are stainless steel with no heavy scratches and looks like it has only seen light use . One of the bracelet links where it joins at 6 has a slight bend but nothing of significance . Fits a 7.5 " wrist . The dial is very good looking in metallic blue . Furnished with a quick set date window and sporting white hour and min hands and a blue second hand . The dial is imaculate and the crystal is scratch free . It is totally original and includes a signed crown , dial , movement and buckle . The automatic Swiss movement is holding time very well and running sweetly . This is a watch that every serious retro watch collector has in his collection or at least should have . I cant think of another watch that epitomizes the period that this came from . Top quality with all the looks .
