An all time classic watch that feature in all watch books and has inspired many many more makers to copy the lines and looks of this, one of the most sought after watches . A design very typical of its period, first produced in the late 1960s and influenced by the television - especially the clock shown on French television as a time check during the period when this watch was sold. This is a fabulous example in used but very nice condition indeed. The movement is Swiss automatic. Case and original bracelet are stainless steel with no heavy scratches and only light marks gained through little usage . Fits a 8 1/4" wrist. The dial on this model is very rare indeed in an electric blue . It is clutter free with no hour graduations and only furnished with day/date window and sporting chrome hour and min hands and a white second hand . The day/date are quick set . The dial is immaculate and the crystal is scratch free . It is totally original and includes a signed crown , dial , movement and buckle . The automatic Swiss movement is holding time very well and running sweetly . This is a watch that every serious retro watch collector has in his collection or at least should have . I cant think of another watch that epitomizes the period that this came from . Top quality with all the looks .
