An all time classic watch that feature in all watch books . Designed by Andre le Marquand and manufactured in Switzerland as part of a range of spaceman watches , even been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York . Manufactured circa 1974 . Its retro looks are very fresh and just as modern looking today as they were thirty years ago and youngsters who did not see these before will offer you all there pocket money to own this .
This is a fabulous example and top quality being manufactured by Swiss manufacturer Harlem and fitted with a silky smooth automatic movement . Comes to you in new old stock condition . The dial is handsome in black with luminous hour batons at the quarters , white hands and orange second hand .A quick set date window is at 6 o clock . The dial is fresh with no patina and the fabulous angled case is totally scratch free and gleaming in chrome with not a single mark . On its original stainless steel spaceman bracelet , including its signed buckle and fits up to a very large 7 1/4" wrist . If needed I can fit a buckle extension to take this up to 8 1/4" . The movement is holding time and running sweetly . This is a watch that every serious retro watch collector has in his collection or at least should have .
