ORIGINAL 1970s RETRO WATCH
HAMILTON LCD DIGITAL -
REF 12JA7
High class and top quality quartz digital watch from Hamilton . A very heavy and very well made piece. This watch would only have been affordable to the highest paid people when it first came out and was cutting edge technology in its day when digitals were a new idea. Housing a movement developed and marketed by Tissot with the help of Casio and also fitted in there huge Casiotron watch with identical case and bracelet. It has just two displays with the time on the first and date and month on the second. The seconds are shown by a series of flashing blocks along the top of the display.
Over all the watch is in great used condition with general wear to the case and bracelet as you can see . Please see my picture of the " Sun " on the display as it is a bit faded but not the end of the world . The stainless steel case is huge lump that you definitely know is on your wrist . On its original solid link bracelet that fits up to a 7.8" wrist and is complete with original signed buckle . It does come in a Hamilton box that may not be its original . Running perfectly and fully operational with no problems, even the night light works. These rare digitals are becoming more and more scarce and very hard to find so make a great investment.
