ORIGINAL 1970S RETRO WATCHCITIZEN AUTOMATIC CHRONOGRAPH REF JUN0855
This is an awesome gents chrono from citizen and in fabulous used condition. These are fast becoming scarce watches and in this nice condition are seldom seen. It is one of citizens more rarer models. The dial is very handsome in blue with chrome batons and set off very well with white hands for normal time and orange chron function hands . It sports two sub dials with the top one registering elapsed hours and the bottom one showing elapsed minutes. Its crown is used to quick set the date by pulling out to the first click and rotating. Also at the first click the bottom chrono button is pressed to quick set the day. The dial is excellent condition with no patina or fading at all. Its crystal is hardlex and scratch free. The chunky case may have been refinished, as it is mint with not a single scratch or mark at all. Features brushed finish with polished sides. Comes fitted on a fabulous retro bracelet with cut outs just as you would have had in the 1970s. The movement is running smoothly and holding time well, with the chronograph function returning back to zero just as it should. My first passion was for Japanese watches and find the quality of them is as good as any Swiss timepiece and there longevity is second to none. This has got to be one of the nicest model citizens made and certainly a quality watch. It screams 1970s and has a fabulous auto chrono movement but you would have to be a wealthy man back then to buy one.
